Theoretically, as long as it's an iPod touch with iOS 8, yeah it should.

It works with my iPad Air and my iPhone 5.
At least it successfully links up and dials.
I was just hoping that someone could try it with an iPod Touch.

That's an interesting idea. Scrap your landline, have only a mobile phone number and an old iPhone in your house to serve as the master phone, and populate the other rooms with iPod touches to serve as cordless phones. :p

Does the phone\text sharing require Bluetooth to be on all devices or just being on same wifi network?

or...just keep your phone nearby :p

It would certinaly breath new life into my iPod touch 5th generation... Keep it downstairs in my bedroom so I wouldn't have to run upstairs when I'm I the bathroom or watching tv dowstairs and forgot my phone upstairs. :)

Your iPhone would still need to be on the network. So the iPod Touches would only work when your iPhone is around. And if your iPhone is around then you can might as well use that.

Its not like you could call home with your iPhone to the iPod touches.
