Teleport Imac with macbook

Hi all, I am trying to connect my Imac with my macbook (late 2006).
they are both running Lion 10.7.3.

I basically installed teleport on both of the machines. Activate teleport on both and only checked "share this Mac" on the macbook as I want my imac to be my main macine.

On my imac teleport preference, I see my macbook and I have positioned it beside my imac. Now the problem is... My mouse from the imac side won't go to the macbook side..
I tested it the other way around (macbook to imac) and it works...

I am really scratching my head off.. can someone shed some light?

the one thing I noticed is that on my imac, when I check and uncheck "Share this Mac", I will see the "imac" icon on my macbook becomes available and unavailable accordingly. But when it comes to checking and unchecking on my macbook... my imac doesn't seem to update the availability of the macbook icon.

Please help me out!

Have you tried moving the screens where you want them in the preferences and then unclick "Activate Teleport" then click to enable it again? How about restarting both the iMac and MacBook?

Thanks MarkMS. I tried enabling and disabling several times didn't work.
It turns out it's the file that's the problem. Downloading a new copy of teleport did the trick.
