Good news for our Nordic friends.

n a very short and scattered press release from Telia announced this morning that TeliaSonera has written agreement with Apple to introduce the iPhone in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia later this year.

Telia has still not said anything about when they will begin selling the iPhone, or at what price. It is also unclear whether Apple chose the same business model with an exclusive operator, or if Telia has only a temporary exclusivity in the first few months.

We contacted Apple and got to talk to Alan Hely, European spokeswoman, iPhone-related problems.

We are enthusiastic to work with TeliaSonera to reach out with the iPhone to customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia this year. . We can hardly wait to reach out with this revolutionary phone to even more people around the world.

This is also Apple's only response and questions about the sale, and other relevant information to say at least, we should wait for.
