I might just be seeing things, but to me, the phone is decidedly taller than the phone I've currently got in my pocket.

The phone is slightly illuminated before the genius turns the light on, and when he does, the display looks much longer than the iPhone 4S. Compare it to the lanyard he has on his desk.

Is it possible that Apple shot these with the new phone so that they would be relevant even after the new hardware is announced Sept. 12?
