You are having a laugh, right? Possible Bad LCD means bad graphics card or the whole computer is broken without warranty. In short stay away.

Try craig's list. Ebay used to be a good spot to have a reasonable shot at finding a fixer-upper, but there are too many sellers happy to put an "as-is" tag and mis-describe issues to make it worth your while there.
