Temperature Listings/Readings w/ iStat

Something I ran into but wasn't quite sure if it was right. Do you guys get a GPU Diode temperature listing using the 9400M or just with the 9600M GT? Also, using iStat Menu, under temperatures, GPU Diode is listed but reads -127 degrees but iStat Pro (widget) is not listed at all.

Yes the 9400M is not listed under the temperatures.

But I can see the 9600 temp listing in both menu and widget.

And sometimes negative degrees occur.

That's reassuring. Never had negative readings with the 9600M GT, just the 9400M but I guess it's there because it's confused since there is nothing to read when using the 9400M. Thanks spinnerlys!

Since the 9400M is integrated in the Northbridge, just check the Northbridge temperature to get that of the 9400M.
