I was using handbrake to rip a DVD yesterday, and I stepped away for a couple minutes. When I came back, I noticed that the temperature of my Pro had risen to 100 C. I quickly raised my fan speed and brought the temperature down, but I'm concerned that the high temperature may have caused damage. It was probably only that high for fifteen or twenty minutes max, but I'm still concerned.

Does anyone know if I should be worried? Are there signs I should look for (noises, etc.)? I have the ACPP, so should I taken it in to have it looked at?

Thanks.

The components will shut themselves down if the temperature is dangerous so you have nothing to worry about
