Hi everyone,

I would like to replace the stock cooler on the 4870 in my new MacPro with some more silent and more efficient third party solution. To check whether things work as they should, it would be helpful to read the temperature sensor(s) on the graphics card. I could do this on my old PowerMac Quad with Applications like TemperatureMonitor or iStat pro, but with the new Mac, the graphics card sensors do not show in these applications.

Does anybody know how the temerature sensor(s) on the 4870 can be read out on the new MacPros?

Thanks in advance,

Matthias.
