My HomePods have stopped reading temperature and humidity. Rebooting didn’t help.

All now say no response with the exception of one. They work fine for everything else.

Anyone else? Software related I assume?

My HomePod mini is reading temp and humidity just fine, in both Home App and when asking Siri. version 18.5.
Totally forgot about asking it. When’s asked Siri does tell me interior temp and humidity so must be a home app bug?

@abatabia Try rebooting your devices where you use the home app. I have an occasional issue where my iPhone doesn't recognize that it's on the same network as my HomePod mini since I connect to so many networks when I leave the house. Reboots and/or airplane mode on/off usually helps with that.

I have two HomePod minis which are less than 4ft apart, at the same vertical and horizontal planes (either side of a TV).

The "thermometer" difference between then is generally 1.5-4.5 celsius 😂😂😂😂

They also differ substantially (about 4.5 celsius) to the temperature reading on my Tado room thermostat, but in fairness that is in another room and permits offsetting for "feel".

I might have to go and buy an old-fashioned mercury thermometer. 😂
