iOS Template in X-code is loading previous project

I did an example app from Apple. Now when I try to load a new Navigation-Based template with Core Data it loads a new project but the rootViewController is the controller from the previous project! Is there anyway to fix this? I am new at this so not having a clean template is really throwing me off. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
