I find the Temple Run game very addictive and fun to play and really want to create a similar type of game app.

But how does Temple Run create "unlimited" maps for the game? Their people couldn't be spending all that time to create thousands of maps for each variation, right?

Most endless runners like Temple Run use random number generators in their code to dynamically create levels. If you played the same level twice, it would be a coincidence.
