Hi,

Tomorrow I'm making a short film for my friend and will be using my iPhone 6 along with my SLR. I've only got a 16GB model and would like at least 6GB for footage and so need to delete some apps and photos to make space.

Ideally I'd like to clear most of my unessential apps and all of my photos tonight, get the footage tomorrow then restore all my apps and photos when I get back. I understand iTunes backup can restore settings, messages etc but if I make a backup will I be able to restore apps and photos?

If anyone can think of a good solution I'd be much appreciated!

Yes as long as you make a back up before you delete apps then you should get all those apps back onto you device if you restore from back up. Including photos.
