Temporary Banner Notification Issue

Having an issue where app notification banners that are set to be temporary, don't go away after viewing them through the app. They used to go away but now sometimes they stick around for days unless I manually delete them. I've checked the Settings and they are set to Temporary and not Persistent. I've tried rebooting my phone. I haven't tried deleting and reinstalling the apps because it's effecting all my apps and that would take a lot of time.
