Temporary iTunes Account?

My 10 yr old son needs to take his iPad to school so that the school can load some school apps for him.
The request is legit and it is coming directly from his teacher and school VP.
They have asked our account info.
I don't want to give them direct access to all my personal info, CC# and iTunes $$ I have.

What is the best way to do this?
Is it possible to delete all my personal info and then add again later?
If I can delete my personal info, what happens to the iTunes GCs I have on there?
Can I create a temp account for him/them to load the school apps he needs?
If so, can I still have access to those apps when I switch back to our family account.

Any suggestions?

Make sure your son knows the password if he doesn't already. Just tell him that he cannot tell anyone the password, and if the teachers need the password in order to accept the purchase on your account then your son should be the one entering the password.

The reason your son has to do this at school is probably because the educational app needs to be setup by a school official. Still, your son should be able to type the name of the app, tap the download button, enter the AppleID, and then hand it to the teacher in order to have it set up correctly. The school does not need your AppleID or password to do anything

Correct, these are educational apps that only the the school can setup.
I did ask if we could install the apps at home and was told no.

Never thought about my son having the PW.
I guess I can give that a shot.
Hopefully he doesn't forget it.
