Sorry if this has been addressed but it's becoming more frequent for me and I've never seen this issue before.
I have an iPhone 5 running the latest OS.
If I'm in a group text (all the participants are on iMessage) and I back out of the text to my "list" and then hit the home button (in a somewhat fast succession), the phone locks up for a good few seconds (in the Messages list) before becoming responsive again and going to the homescreen. Has anyone else experienced this type of behavior? Seems like an easily repeatable issue for me now.
I would semi-expect this to happen on my wife's iPhone 4 since iOS6 has slowed that thing down considerably, but this is a 3-month old iPhone 5.
