temps very high when playing games,help a noob

hello, when i play games on my macbook pro older gen with 8600 gt 256 ram ( never had a problem yet ) the temps reach 80 c on the gpu and the top ( near the bottom screen) and the top of speaker ( with power plugged in ) get very hot to the touch as well, what should i do? i do i fix it?

Get software to regulate fan speed perhaps.
