macOS TeraTerm on mac?

Hi,

I need to connect to a handheld device via serial cable and for that Im using a USB to serial converter (MT609-2), but Im unable to establish a connection with PortTerm or goSerial...

The USB converter shows up in "about this mac" under the USB tab.

TeraTerm on Windows works...
