Terminal and Boot Camp Assistant not opening.

Hi,

I have a 2014 Mac Book Pro Retina Display model that I am trying to set up a Windows 7 partition on.

Problem is when I go to Boot Camp Assistant and try to open it the screen flickers as if an app is opening but nothing ever comes up. In my efforts to Google an answer I found some posts suggesting some things to do in Terminal and upon attempting to open Terminal it does the same thing that happens when Boot Camp Assistant is clicked.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Maybe try using a guest account and opening the app on the guest account.
