Terminal and Textmate

Hello.

I have to set up a developer environment and I want to follow this tutorial:

I have Textmate installed but the thing is I cannot get the 'mate' command to work in Terminal?

Can anyone help me out with this please?

That command stopped working for me when I got a Logitech Revolution MX mouse and installed the software for it. Perhaps you are suffering from the same problem.

You could make an alias for the command. I can't remember off the top of my head the procedure but you can always google it.

Look under the Help menu for an option to install Enhanced Terminal Usage.

This page shows how to manually set it up to run mate from the command line.

This page seems to indicate there's an issue with doing the above in Leopard and so offers an alternative.
