iSSH and touchterm. I have both and use iSSH more often.

about getting iSSH. Can I view
Local files like can I see files on my
iPhone? Also I am new to ssh, are
there sample sites that would let

You can't see local files as that would go against the rules of the SDK. That'd make jailbreaking unnecessary if you could see your local files.

what about a sample site that
would give info like username and
password so I could try to use
touchterm or issh? Also I own
a MacBook pro laptop could I set
my laptop up if I had an Internet
connection to do a remote login?

You can try mobileterminal if your phone is jailbroken. It's a nice app and I use it quite often. It does offer access to your local iPhone files as well.
