Hello all,

In terminal when i enter the command $ date 0701102010 I get the following message

date: bind: Permission denied
date: settimeofday (timeval): Operation not permitted

If I understand correctly this should change the date to January 10, 2007 8:10 PM right?

How can I change this so that I get the proper permission?

Thanks

Throw a sudo in front of that.

If it was your last command, you can just do:

Code:
sudo !!

To re-run it with superuser.
