I'm on a macbook pro (mid 2010) using Yosemite.
The keyboard layout in Terminal is different than other apps. When I type '~' (OPTION + Ñ) I get a '?' character. That's both with the laptop's keyboard and an external USB keyboard. With the USB keyboard the layout is also changed. I have a '<>' key between LEFT-SHIFT and Z, but when hitting it I get ' º ' and ' ª '. This only happens with Terminal app. All other apps (XCode, TextEdit, iTerm, ... ) work just fine.
I looked into Terminal's preferences but didn't find any solution there. Also checked my .bash_profile to see if I could find something there, but I didn't.
I don't have a clue on what's going on. Any hints will be highly appreciated.
Thanks!
