Terminal not launching

Several applications on my computer show the same icon and will not open:

I am trying to open Terminal but when you click on any of these nothing happens. My operating system is fully updated and restarting the computer did not work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Maybe just the launcher is messed up? Trying using Spotlight to start the app. Or opening a Finder window and going to the Applications folder.
