Terminal not working - no commands i try work

My Terminal seems to have a problem.. When i type in "Is" it just returns -bash: Is: command not found
Im new to terminal, can someone help me figure out whats wrong?

Heres the full dialog in Terminal:

kristian-holes-imac:~ Kristian$ Is
-bash: Is: command not found

I don't think "Is" is a built in command on Mac OS X. You may have to install it.

Are you trying to get a directory listing? it's 'ls' as in the letter after 'k'.

Yep.. I mixed I with l.. It now works and there is nothing wrong. Thank you sincerely. im dumb....
