Whenever I try to use Terminal, I get no reaction. Picture to prove my point...

What do you want your SUper user to DO (sudo)?

There is a command missing, it only contains paths to something (Text Edit and hosts), but there is no command for Terminal to run.

sudo

the first time I opened it, when I put that command in it came up with a message to insert my password. I then proceeded to put my pass in but it said it was wrong:confused:. I've only had one password for my computer the whole time I've had it. I tried three times then it told me I was out of tries. I quit Terminal... Then when I open it back up whenever I try to insert something NOTHING happens at all.

Quit Terminal.

Move ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist to your Desktop, where ~ denotes your Home folder.

Restart your computer and then try Terminal again.
