So, I was trying to install wine on os x using macports, and i think I messed something up. This is what I get when I open a new shell.

Any suggestions on how to fix?

C'mon, none of you Unix gurus have an answer? somebody out there has to know.

Solved.... sort of

Well, it took a lot of searching and what not, but I finally got to where I can once again execute commands in the Terminal. After much frustration, I was about to give up, but decided to look at the Terminal Inspector window, and it showed that there were three processes running, login, bash, and what. I then opened Activity Monitor, and killed the "what" process, my terminal window executed a couple of commands, and then went to the admin$ prompt. YAY!

Now my question is, how to I stop the "what" command from executing every time I open a new terminal window?:apple:

In my settings, it is set to execute /bin/bash.
