I Was trying to uninstall Google updater from my iMac (10.11.3)
I found this
sudo /Library/Google/GoogleSoftwareUpdate/GoogleSoftwareUpdate.bundle/Contents/Resources/ksinstall --nuke

And it seems to have worked
I'm just not familiar with --nuke

Everywhere else online I see --uninstall

What is the difference?

Want to make sure I didn't do something I shouldn't have

None you can name an option/target passed into a script anything you want as long as it did what it is supposed to do nothing to worry about.
