I don't like the safe sleep option on MacBooks, but it can come in handy. I have it turned off, but is there a way of making maybe a TextEdit file that, when opened, can turn on safe sleep? If so, what would need to be in it, and what file type would it need to be saved as? Thanks a lot!

I understand you want to change the "hibernate mode" from 3 (default) to 25 (deep sleep), right ?

This is exactly what DeepSleep does.

You can also to it via a script.

I must be missing something...
