This is my first post, so I'm not sure if I'm in the right section or not.

I have downloaded Xcode and it runs just fine. But now my terminal commands always return the message "commands not found"

I've attempted a little trouble shooting and I've gotten no where.

here is what happens when I do echo $PATH

/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Post an example of the actual command-line that fails.

If the failed command produces an error message, post the actual error message, too.

Finally, post which version of Xcode, and what your OS version is.
