Hi

I have a question about the terminal utility.
every time i open it the first line is about my last login, no problems here i guess :)

the second however is
[username]:Flash Player.plugin [myname]$

is this supposed to be like that? and how can i get rid of it?

thanks in advance :)

OK, well, that's different than your first post. In the first post you said your prompt was:

[username]:Flash Player.plugin [myname]$

Second message you said is was:

B:Flash Player.plugin [myname]$

From your PS1 environment variable, according to your second post, the name of your machine is "B". You are just substituting "[myname]" for your actual name right?

This also suggests that you are in the "Flash Player.plugin" directory - does that sound right? You can find your current working directory with the "pwd" command. A "cd" command by itself should change you to your home directory.
