Terrabyte NAS for MacNetwork

Hi everybody.
I'm looking for a big NAS, let's say 1TB and more.
I have also heard that there are some limitations with SMB (only <2GB Files)
but i have a lot of DVD Images to backup.

So I found the Western Digital World II Edition very interesting, but it seams that there is the SMB problem.

Then I found the Buffalo LinkStation Pro Duo 1TB.

Now there is the question. Has anybody some experience with NAS and Mac and are there some NAS that supports lager Files.
