Its not bad, but for me the best thing is that I can export the terrains to Lightwave objects.....this is going to come in quite handy ;)

I worked with the above scene and added a model and here is what I made, it's an mp4 movie, but yahoo won't let me have mp4's so I zipped it first.

hmmm Geocities found out I posted it on a forum and pulled it.... I'll have to host it somewhere else.

For now I'll host it here: Link

Still doesn't work - even just the ~wlb directory won't load.

Give it a try now, and if any of you could, host it somewhere else, this will only work while my mac is on.

Ha, not bad, not bad.

So what were the puffs of smoke from?

You should also make them a little reddish, since that's what the ground is. Also, the ship isn't flying quite right, it seems to be at an angle to the fly path and comes pretty damn close to the ground.

Nice though, especially since you just started playing with it.

Where did you get the ship?

Puffs of smoke were from Pyrocluster in C4D, I am trying to make them more reddish, still working on that. Ship is from: http://scifi3d.theforce.net/list.asp?intGenreID=10&intCatID=8

So what did you render the whole thing in?

Is it just a back ground in terragen and then the rest of it done in C4D?

Background hills were done in Terragen and then the rest was done in c4d.

Thanks for the link - I signed up and they have a couple useful tutorials that I can use with Lightwave. One specifically importing Terragen to Lightwave.

I'll post something when I get a chance, probably a couple weeks when I'm finished with my current stuff.
