This is a long shot, both seeing how my soundcard is not the most common one in the biz, but also since it's been abandoned by terratec for quite some time. Anyway;
I have the "Terratec Phase 88 Rack FireWire" soundcard. The latest drivers that came out for it was back when leopard was released, which can be found here
They have (to my surprise) actually been working fine until now, I've had no problems using them on 10.6/7/8 or 9.
Now that I've installed Yosemite on my MBP (I use a iMac in the studio that I'm still running Mavericks on) the small program that gives you control over the various settings has stopped working, it just says that it can't find a server and that I need to start one on this machine. This happens every now and then in Mavericks too, but a reboot with the sound card powered on always does the trick, but not on Yosemite. The computer recognises the card and lets me play audio through it, I just can't control any of its settings due to the software problems.
Might be worth mentioning that the card supports Core Audio.
I really like this card, it has all the I/O that I need and almost never gives me any trouble and I'd like to keep using it. I realise that it might have come to the end of its lifespan now, but if anyone has any thoughts on how I could go about making it work in Yosemite that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
