my dad has a mbp and he usually uses it at his desk so he leaves it plugged in all the time. i recently asked him if he had been calibrating his battery and he looked at me blankly. now his battery literally holds 20 min of life. is this normal? i mean that much loss? and i know there are forums for similar subjects, but i was just wondering what he could do since this is a pretty extreme case? just leave it unplugged as much as possible? thanks for the help.

Today I noticed that my battery life was about 30 minutes.. (though it has been recently calibrated) I would try downloading Coconut Battery and see what it says. When I saw that mine was 22% capacity, I called Apple and they were able to replace it despite being a week out of my warranty. :)
