Tescos midnight launch

Just heard they are selling from 12.01am

Just called my local Tesco Extra and been advised it will be on sale 8am on the 16th

Mine (sandhurst) Surrey confirm midnight - only problem is they are not stocking 32 or 64 4g, the ones I want!!

Just called another 3 tesco stores, and all won't be selling at midnight, in fact they say they might not even have stock.

So must be a local thing....

I am going to go to Tescos at 3.30am and if they don't have any then I will head over the the apple store and join the mad idiots in the queue. I have to get one tomorrow....its my daughters birthday on Saturday :-(

I suspect Tesco won't be selling the iPhone 5...!

I'm really surprised that several retailers (Walmart in the USA, a phone company in Australia) are doing this, given how much Apple like to be in control. Unless this has been agreed, which I find unlikely, I think there'll be a few retailers banned from selling at the next launch or two.

on the tesco direct page (http://direct.tesco.com/), on the banner image at the top, there are 4 dark gray boxes indicating different banner ads that display over time. wait a few seconds and it changes, or click the 4th box

Got my new iPad from Tesco Newtownbrea, Belfast. There was hardly anyone there and I got my staff discount!

Do you happen to know which models they had in?

They seemed to have a fair range but I would phone to confirm stock first. I got a 16GB Black WiFi.
