Test connection to PS3

I was just wondering if there is a way that I can see what bandwidth I am getting between my PS3 and my Mac.

I know that you can test the PS3's connection on the PS3, but it tests the speed of your internet connection, not your network connection.

I try to stream media to my PS3 and I am having some trouble. So I want to see what the connection is.
