Test Request: Try "cupping" your non-iPhones

I have a new iPhone coming in mid-july. All of this talk of the bezel-related reception issues had me worried. I tried to "cup" my Blackberry Bold 9000 in my hands like the videos we have all seen of the iPhone. Surprisingly, my Bold 9000 consistently goes from 5 bars to 2 bars when I do this. Maybe most phones have this problem to some degree?
