I have 15 Pro - biggest gripe is narrow body that doesn't sit well without a case. With case it is quite heavy.
Went to Apple store. By all mental calculations, regular 17 was the way to go. However the hand size and the grip played a crucial role.
Regular 17 is narrow as my 15 Pro, very unstable in my hands. 17 Pro locked right in giving the best grip, second best Air and third was 17 Pro Max.
My pick is Air and second best choice is Pro. However i don't want another Pro, because i am sure the weight will eventually get me after euphoria phase in day to day.
Indeed running the numbers on apple comparison website, all of the 3 above turned out to be wider than 15 Pro.
So check it out for your own hands preferably at Apple Store (not bestbuy where phones have cages around them) to feel it for yourself.
