TESTED: Sprint Iphone 4s not sim unlocked

Just tested my iPhone 4s from sprint with my friend's att sim card, did not work for anyone that needed that question answer, and also tried my friends tmobile micro sim card did not work either. So this sim unlocked initially is clearly bogus unless i am doing something wrong of course, it ask for the phone to be reactivated again maybe its something new in iOS5.

I think it was supposed to be unlocked for global sims, not competitors. I could be wrong, though.
 
It wouldn't work with another US sim, US service is locked to the Sprint network. You'd have to try it with a foreign sim to see if it works.
 
ah ill try to look for my prepaid international sim card, that i had when studying abroad then.

appreciated your posting, thanks, and of course, waiting for int'l sim result.. (also waiting for my sprint phone to arrive! sadly my int'l sim is not micro, and I don't have a cutter...)
 
my first micro sim cut was actually using wire cutters, its not a hard job just gotta make drawings with a pencil to cut it. But I did get a micro sim cutter while studying abroad since it was pretty cheap in shanghai

Wireless toys? We don't have those in IL I think.
Local, meaning a place where I can physically walk put with one.
If I can't find in a store , I had planned to order from Amazon anyway.

Yeah I know what you mean locally that's the only store in las Vegas that i seen it my friend got his on eBay so that's why I put eBay too
 
What error did it give you? Was it the same as other people have shown with the Verizon iPhone?
