Testing connection speed between networked computers

Hello all,

I have two macs, and both connect wirelessly to an Airport Extreme base station. What I'm wondering is if there's an app that can tell me how fast my computer-to-computer connection speed is? I'm using file sharing between the computers and sometimes things seem slow.

Any ideas?

Even without software, you can simply copy a large file between the systems and divide the file size by the time it takes, to get megabytes/second or megabits/second.
