I'm trying to test a web application on an iPad via an Ad Hoc network which I've created on my Macbook. (using Create Network in Network Preferences)
I've manually set the IP to 192.168.0.1
The thing is, it will let me connect the iPad to this network but I just can't access the files on my mac.
I've been trying to connect to those by using the IP address of my macbook but unfortunately it's not working.
I've also been trying to connect to my virtual MAMP server running on http://localhost:8888/ (which should be 192.168.0.1:8888 on the iPad). Still not working though.
Any ideas, help or advice would be welcome!
