Testing Logic board that is out of compter Ibook G4

Is there a way to test a logic board that is out of the computer.
Someone took apart one because it did not have a hard drive. I now have a hard drive for it. Without putting the WHOLE thing back together how can I test it?

Can I plug in the Power and the hard drive and the monitor?
