Is there a simple utility app that can test the ram on a Macbook Pro?

I've tried Rember but it just is well, unresponsive and hangs half-way through the test.

The "About this Mac" indicates the 8 gigs but I'd like to get a second test..

(I've searched already)

You're trying to see how much RAM you have? You should probly know that
But if that's what you're looking for I think crucial.com has a program for that.

Even System Profiler will show how much and what type of RAM is installed. No need to go to any 3rd party for that kind of info.
