Tether an iPhone to and iPhone?

Has anyone tried this?

I'm thinking about getting an iPhone for my fiance but I'm hoping to get her on a cheaper data plan to save money. I, on the other hand, have a 6GB data plan with free tethering (I live in Canada) and was wondering if I can somehow have her use my data allotment when we're out and about through tethering.

It works, you can turn on your personal hotspot and let her connect her phone to it. However, I don't think it will last long. I am not talking about the plan but your relationship with her because if you are out together, you suppose to do something else and not minding your/her own business and just searching/chatting on the net. Just my 2 cents.

You have two have to be really near each other at all times. Could be good or bad.
