tether your iphone fully

ok i found this thing on the 2.1 jailbroken ipwned iphone apps it is called pdanet it is a iphone version of what palm pilots use to tether and all you need to do is create a network and join on the iphone and computer and open it...............BAM!!!!!! fully tethered iphone (you should plugin your laptop and plugin your iphone to your laptop when doing this it is a huge power consumer) also will att notice if i use this alot or do i need to keep it down a notch?
