Tethered iPhone wont boot through redsn0w..

I don't understand this. I just ran a tethered JB sucessfully using redsn0w. installed apps through Cydia and my phone automatically rebooted because one of the apps was bitesms which requires a reboot after installing.

Now I know the phone will not turn on without it being booted up through redsn0w, so I put the phone in DFU mode, opened up redsn0w and selected "boot as tethered right now". Let redsn0w do its thing, screen went white blah blah blah, got the pineapple logo etc

The problem is my damn phone doesnt turn back on. It just sits on the pineapple logo for like 10 minutes and does nothing. After it sits there for 10 minutes, it switches over to the apple logo and does the same exact thing. Why cant I get my phone to turn back on?!?! I'm putting the phone into DFU and re-booting it with redsn0w like I am supposed to...
 
Try switching USB ports and if that doesn't work reboot your computer. Redsn0w gets wonky sometimes. If none of that works then you'll have to restore and try again.

Since I can't shut my phone off, should I put it back into DFU mode, switch usb ports/restart and then try it again?
 
Still wont boot up...


really don't want to have to restore. Is there any way around this?
 
Hold the sleep and home button down for 20 seconds. The Apple logo should come up a second time. Then try to get it into DFU. Hold sleep and home for 10 seconds, release sleep and keep holding home for another 10 seconds.
 
Just restored and re-jailbroke it the same way and the same thing is happening.

After I get into Cydia, install apps and re-boot through redsn0w the phone gets stuck every time. Not sure if this is it but can the phone trying to boot back up on it's own (WITHOUT redsn0w) be causing it to screw itself up and lock me out?

Here's what i'm doing:
unplugged my phone after opening cydia (not sure if I should have)

I installed apps on cydia, then manually shut the phone off

plugged my phone BACK into the USB and it tried to force itself back on w/ apple logo (Is this where i'm messing up?)

quickly put phone into DFU mode, selected "just boot tethered right now" and im stuck
