Tethered jailbreak

I have a tethered jailbreak on my iPhone 4. If I respring will I need to boot it up again?

I don't thinks so. I've installed cydia apps that make the ipad respring and everything was good. I'm pretty sure that if you see the pineapple logo during the respring, the jailbreak is still active.
