Tethered vs untethered

What else won't I be able to do if I use the tethered jailbreak?

Can I still use custom themes and icons? Or will it be too much of a pain?


Sorry if this question has already been asked before just wanted to be clear before I go through with this.

Tethered - once shut off, must be rejailbroken.

untethered - free f0r3v4rz!!!11!!1one1!!!

Both can do the same things

If I go the tethered rout can I still restore it through itunes? I don't need to turn it off after I install custom themes do I?

Yes, you can restore it to official firmware thru itunes if you want to go back to stock.
And not sure when installing theme's you might need to restart or just respring.
Either way you gotta have redsnow ready on your computer cause some tweaks on cydia require a reboot once installed.
But after you have everything setup and running the way you want you wont need to reboot. Unless you want to or your battery goes dead.
