Tethering 8700G Blackberry to OSX?

I'm trying to tether my 8700G to my MBP.. Not sure if this is the right forum, but i'll give it a shot.

I've found tons of reads, but nothing works.

First problem I see overall is when attempting to setup the bluetooth device, there should be an option to check "Access the Internet with your phone’s data connection", but this option doesn't pop up for me.

Any good links, reads, threads, suggestions?? Help!
