Tethering after Restore

I was using the limera1n tethered jailbreak on my iphone 4 but had to restore because of an issue. I decided that since 4.3 is right around the corner to just wait it out with a stock firmware. I had downloaded Tetherme while jailbroken and used it when my internet went down. Fast forward to today and i was looking around Settings>Network and i clicked on internet sharing and it went right to the prompt to select bluetooth or usb when in the past on stock firmware it had prompted me to call at&t. Do you think that the carrier hack survived a restore? It still says that i am on an unlimited plan when i dial *data# so i am confused. Anyone else run into this after restoring?
